Activity Explanations

Ceremony Team Competitions - Each chapter has been working hard all year to perfect their ceremonies. Come cheer on your ceremony team as they compete against each other.

Native American Crafts - Roger Bryant will be offering a variety of Native American crafts. Whether you have started a project in the past, or are looking for a new craft, this is the place for you.

Native American Outfitting - In this area we will have multiple sewing machines available to assist you in making your very own outfitting. You may not be able to complete outfitting today, but this work shop will be a great start.

Arrowman 101- Yearning to learn more about the Order of the Arrow? In this class we hope to satisfy your need for information by discussing the Order of the Arrow and how it works.

Troop/Team Representative Training - Whether you are a current Troop Rep or may become one in the future, this training will help you become more effective as a link between the Order of the Arrow and your troop.

Elangomat Training - Elangomats are one of our first contacts with our new members. By going through elangomat training, and learning what being an elangomat is all about, you will ensure that our new candidates have a positive experience.

High Adventure Opportunities - Ever thought about participating in one of the High Adventure Bases? In this class you will learn more about: Philmont, Seabase, Boundary Waters, and Canadian Odyssey.

Elections and Promotions Training - With election season quickly approaching, your chapter may soon ask you to assist with elections and promotions. Be sure you are up to the challenge by attending this training.

Successful Event Promotion - “We came up with the event, now how do we get people there?” is a class to help you get others excited about upcoming events.

Ceremony Team Tryouts - The Lodge is looking for many talented individuals to serve as a member of the lodge ceremony teams. If you are interested in being on a lodge team, this is your opportunity to try out.

Cribbage Tournament - Mitigwa Lodge is well known throughout the Order of the Arrow community as a cribbage power house. Whether you’re an old pro or want to learn how to play, stop by the cribbage tournament and try your luck.

Pow Wow - on Saturday night we will dance at the annual Pow Wow.

We will be sleeping in barracks so make sure you bring your sleeping equipment. This year, everything is in the same building including the barracks, rest rooms, and the dining hall, except for the Ceremony competition and the Pow Wow.
